To create a BreakOut based on specific learning goals in the Judaics classroom. The BreakOut will provide an innovative way to approach and assess student understanding of content.
Through a five-part webinar series, teachers have come together to learn about and plan their BreakOut. Each webinar had a specific focus to guide the creation process. In addition, teachers had one-to-one coaching calls with Ariella Falack, to bring their BreakOuts to completion.
Each school implemented a BreakOut into one Judaics class (Chumash, Tanakh, Gemara). The students used their understanding of content and collaborative problem solving to “breakout”. Each BreakOut provided a hands-on, engaging approach to learning.
